Jack Mrozinski named defensive coordinator
Jack Mrozinski has been named defensive coordinator for the Salve Regina football team. He comes to the University after spending the past six seasons at Ithaca College.
“He has worked under some great coaches, and I am confident that his education as a coach will bring some great insight to the Salve football family,” said head coach Kevin Gilmartin.
Mrozinski began his time at Ithaca as a video coordinator, working his way up to his most recent positions as recruiting coordinator, defensive backs coach and special teams coordinator. He coached 12 all-conference players, 2 conference players of the year, and two all-Americans.
Mrozinski’s coaching background also includes time at Widener University, Hofstra University, Muhlenberg College and his alma mater, SUNY Buffalo State. Mrozinski played quarterback and long snapper at Buffalo State from 2002-2006, majoring in communications.
