Three women’s volleyball players earn all-conference honors

Annie Donahue ’20, Samantha Higgins ’18 and Samantha Salwa ’18 were recently named to the Commonwealth Coast Conference’s 2017 all-conference squad for women’s volleyball.
Donahue, who was named to the first team, leads the Seahawks with 281 kills this season (seventh in the conference) while also pacing the team with 65 total blocks (third in the conference).
Higgins, who was named to the third team, ranks ninth in the conference with 48 total blocks and sixth in solo blocks with 18. She is third on the Seahawks with 143 kills.
Salwa, who was named to the third team, leads the Seahawks with 694 assists (fourth in the conference) and leads the conference with 56 service aces.
The Seahawks open their postseason at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, hosting the University of New England in the conference quarterfinals.
