The field hockey team recently received the 2017 Zag Field Hockey/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III national academic team award, marking the 11th consecutive year the team has earned this honor.
In addition, eight Seahawk players were named to the 2017 academic squad. They are Taylor Bulis ’21, Ashley Cody ’20, Hannah Filiault ’20, Nicole Johnson ’21, Ciara Labbe ’21, Jessie Severino ’18, Brooke Tolley ’18 and Hope Vaughn ’19.
“Our players are serious about being student-athletes and continue to excel in the classroom while balancing their athletic demands,” said head coach Jennifer Foster. “Our coaching staff is proud of what they have accomplished and how well they represent Salve Regina athletics.”
