“I’d like to thank our incredible alumni base, friends and family of the team for the constant support on and off the field,” said captain Joseph Goff ’18. “We truly couldn’t be in this position without all of you. Bringing Salve Regina back to a national championship has been my goal since I was a freshman here. It’s been an honor to lead this group of young men the last two years. It really feels like a dream come true to be in this position, now it’s time to take it home.”
In April, Salve Regina’s 15s team defeated Loyola University Maryland 27-26 for third place in the national championships at Life University. Ben Faulkner ’18 and Kyle O’Connor ’19 earned all-tournament selections, while Liam Burke ’18 was honored with the Heart and Soul Award. Salve Regina finished the 15s season 13-1 to bring the organization’s record to 105-14 since 2008.
