Vehicle registration for 2018-2019 now available

The vehicle registration process is open for the 2018-2019 academic year. All previously issued resident and commuter decals have expired.

Students must register their vehicle online through the portal. The registration form is located in My Information > Web Advisor > User Account. Commuter students are reminded to enter a local address when prompted. The cost is $125 per year for undergraduate automobiles/motorcycles, $62 per year for graduate students and $75 per year for scooters, which will be automatically billed to the student account.

As a reminder, freshman resident students are not permitted to have automobiles on campus or within the city of Newport during the academic year (September-May).

Students may pick up their parking permits in the Office of Safety and Security between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday beginning Sept. 3. A valid registration, proof of insurance and a Salve ID is needed to pick up parking permits. All students must have a valid parking permit by Monday, Sept. 10. Failure to have a valid permit may result in ticketing and towing.
