Community service opportunities: September

The Office of Community Service has several service opportunities available during the month of September. To register for one of the service opportunities listed below, or to view all service opportunities, visit the Community Service website.

Saturday, Sept. 15: God’s Community Garden
Volunteers are needed from 9-11 a.m. to help with arts and crafts for the American Heritage Girls. Van transportation is provided. 

Saturday, Sept. 15: Clean Ocean Access
Volunteers are needed from noon to 2 p.m. to assist with a beach cleanup at Easton’s (First) Beach in Newport. Van transportation is provided.

Saturday, Sept. 22: Child & Family
Volunteers are needed from 9 a.m. to noon to help with Child & Family’s annual touch-a-truck event for children. Van transportation is provided.

Saturday, Sept. 29 and Sunday, Sept. 30: Norman Bird Sanctuary Harvest Fair
Volunteers are needed from noon to 5 p.m. to help with various games and arts and crafts. Van transportation is provided.
