Salve Regina hosting summer camps for young athletes
Several of the University’s athletic teams are hosting youth camps during the summer months, in sports such as baseball, basketball, lacrosse and volleyball.

Women’s lacrosse summer league
Tuesday nights in July, 6-7:15 p.m., $120
This five-on-five summer league for middle and high school players will provide an opportunity to increase stick skills and lacrosse experience in a game-like environment. Games will be played on a shorter field (width of a field) with less players.
Girls basketball clinic
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 13, $85
The clinic will give players age 13-18 an opportunity to grow and improve by teaching strong fundamentals through individual skill work, team drills and game situational play. Personal instruction for each player will be provided by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable coaching staff.
Women’s lacrosse elite clinic
9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, July 29, $125
Hosted by the Seahawk coaching staff and current players, this clinic is designed for high school players who intend to compete at the college level. The clinic will give players an opportunity to improve their lacrosse fundamentals and knowledge of the game while learning about Salve Regina and the women’s lacrosse program.
Women’s volleyball camp
5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5 through Thursday, Aug. 8, $145
This camp is designed for participants with JV or varsity high school experience and is also open to those trying out for a high school team for the first time. Campers may also register for individual sessions at a cost of $40 per night.
Baseball prospect clinic
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6 and Sunday, Sept. 1, $125
Designed for high school players of all skill levels, the clinic will include a pro-style workout, drills, batting practice, arm maintenance and routines for pitchers, campus tours, instruction, collegiate evaluations and more. Rapsodo pitching evaluations will be available.
Men’s lacrosse camp
10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, $125
Hosted by the Seahawk coaching staff and current players, this clinic is designed for high school players who wish to compete at the next level. Participants will have a realistic experience of what it’s like to compete as an intercollegiate men’s lacrosse student-athlete.
Men’s basketball elite camp
1-4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, $50
Open to students who have completed grades 8-12, the camp will give participants an opportunity to learn more about Salve Regina University and the men’s basketball program while improving their skills under the direction of coaching staff.
