Ali Muehlbronner ’13 named goalie of the week

Ali Muehlbronner ’13 has been named the Eastern College Athletic Conference East goalie of the week.
Muehlbronner was instrumental in Salve Regina’s 2-0 run this past week. She made 26 saves over the week with a 0.53 GAA and posted a .963 save percentage, allowing just one goal and recording her second shutout of the season by blanking Plymouth State University Saturday afternoon.
Muehlbronner now has 411 saves this season and 1,170 in her career, which places her fourth on Salve Regina’s all-time saves list.
The Seahawks return to the ice when they host the University of Massachusetts Boston Friday, Feb. 1 at St. George’s School. The opening faceoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
