AMA partnering with the Jewel Bar for annual fundraiser

Salve Regina’s chapter of the American Marketing Association has partnered with the Jewel Bar for its annual fall fundraiser, scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28 in the O’Hare Academic Building lobby.

Based in Middletown, the Jewel Bar is a growing online jewelry and accessories boutique that hosts events across the East Coast to support different philanthropies.

Members of the Salve Regina community are invited to shop the Jewel Bar’s selection of jewelry, scarves, ponchos, reversible totes and handbags, crossbody bags, pompom hats, mittens and ornaments. Items are priced from $7-$40 and a portion of all proceeds will benefit the American Marketing Association.

Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted, and free gift wrapping will be available.

Salve Regina’s chapter of the American Marketing Association provides marketing resources and education by offering professional development activities and networking opportunities. National competition and local community service projects not only enhance members’ skills and knowledge, but also promote ethical decision-making and responsible citizenship.
