As the University monitors and updates COVID-19 restrictions, spectators are now allowed at athletic competitions and performances. To celebrate, the Office of Student Engagement is partnering with Salve Regina University Athletics for some exciting upcoming basketball games this week.

Spring Semester Athletic Kick-Off
Tuesday, Feb. 8, 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Miley Café
Come and join the University community in supporting the men’s and women’s basketball teams as they both take on local rivals Roger Williams University on Tuesday, Feb. 8. The Office of Student Engagement will be having game-time food and a DJ set up in Miley Café from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. before the games. The office will also cover the cost of dinner for any commuter students or off-campus students who don’t have a meal plan.
The women’s basketball tip off is at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men’s basketball tip off at 7: 30 p.m. There will be giveaways prior to each tip off, a halftime show in between the two games and more fun. Masks must be worn at all times.
White Out Double-Header
Saturday, Feb. 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Miley Café
Come and join the University community in supporting the men’s and women’s basketball teams as they both take on Endicott College. The Office of Student Engagement will be having game-time food and a DJ set up in the Miley Café from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. before the games, and the office will cover the cost of lunch for any commuter students or off-campus students who don’t have a meal plan.
Join in afterward at Rogers Recreation Center for the women’s basketball tip off at 1 p.m., followed by the men’s basketball tip off at 3 p.m. There will be giveaways like T-shirts, a halftime show and a food truck in between games. Masks must be worn at all times.
