Business department hosting networking events for students

The Department of Business Studies and Economics is hosting several events for students on Thursday, March 26. The day will begin with a series of presentations and end with a networking reception for students and alumni.
Three presentations will be held in the Bazarsky Lecture Hall on Thursday afternoon. The schedule is:
- 12:30 p.m. – Jared Wallin ’05, marina operations manager at MacDougalls’ Cape Cod Marine Service, will discuss “College to Career From the First Experience”
- 2:15 p.m. – Dr. Myra Edelstein, associate professor in the Department of Business Studies and Economics, will discuss “Lessons From a Backyard Beekeeper: It’s All About Leadership and Management”
- 3:45 p.m. – Adam Noble ’08, founder and CEO of Lifebox, will discuss “Jump, and Build the Plane on the Way Down”
The networking reception for business students and alumni will be held from 6-8 p.m. in the Ochre Court state dining room. Students will be able to have professional headshots taken for their LinkedIn profiles.
