Center for Teaching and Learning holding grand opening
Faculty and staff are invited to attend the grand opening of the Center for Teaching and Learning’s new suite in the McKillop Library, which will be held from 3-6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16. The suite is located in Room 007 on the library’s garden level.
The celebration will include a ribbon cutting, remarks from President Jane Gerety, RSM, a raffle and refreshments (wine, cheese and cake).
Accessible by passcode during garden level hours, the Center for Teaching and Learning offers a flexible environment for faculty to collaborate, work, learn, converse and relax. (Passcodes will be available during the grand opening.)
The newly renovated suite features a private work environment, an informal conversation and collaboration area and space for technical and pedagogical workshops. Also included is a beverage and snack station to fuel work and discussions.
