Class of 2023 selects student wellness fund for Senior Class Gift
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Senior Class Gift, a milestone of philanthropy at Salve Regina. The shared experience of giving back exemplifies the culture of mercy that has been a staple of the University community for the past 75 years.
Building upon the success of the Class of 2022, which established the Salve Student Wellness Fund during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Class of 2023 will continue to raise funds for this initiative.
The Salve Student Wellness Fund addresses student wellness holistically – thinking through support emotionally, intellectually, physically, socially and spiritually. Gifts to this fund support initiatives that help students cope, overcome and thrive.
The Class of 2023 committee is raising funds for their Senior Class Gift through an online campaign, as well as through events over the course of the semester.
Upcoming events include a “100 Days Until Graduation” party on Thursday, Feb. 9. Ticket price includes a gift to the Senior Class Gift, along with a cash bar, door prizes, small bites and more. Seniors can register for this event here.
There is also a “Halfway There” event for sophomores on Thursday, Feb. 16, in partnership with the Office of Student Engagement, as well as the annual Senior Week prior to Commencement on Sunday, May 21. More details will be announced as they become available.
