Committee seeks outstanding students for CLASS awards
Salve Regina’s honors and awards committee is seeking nominations for the Campus Leadership and Student Service awards, presented annually to students who have been recognized by their peers, faculty, staff and administration as outstanding contributors to the cohesiveness of the University community.
Unlike other awards that recognize community service, the Campus Leadership and Student Service awards are specifically intended to recognize students for their demonstration of leadership and service to the Salve Regina community.
The honors and awards committee will consider each nominee’s service within the University community, leadership positions at Salve Regina, participation in University-wide activities and scholarship and commitment to the learning community.
Senior recipients of the award will be recognized at the Honors and Awards Ceremony during Commencement weekend, while other recipients will be recognized at the Student Life Honors Dinner on May 2.
Current students who have received the award in previous years are not eligible to be nominated again. They are Joseph Barbera, Rosa Brito, Adriano Cirioli, Ming Fen Congdon, Edward Cullinane, Caroline Kelley, Ryan Kelly, Nills Manzi, Michael Marotta, Cassandra Raymond, Patricia Socarras, Gina Marie Tonini and Brittany Withers.
