Faculty, staff artisans needed for annual craft fair

Faculty and staff artisans are invited to reserve a table for this year’s craft fair, which will be held Thursday, Nov. 8 in Ochre Court. Held annually in the fall, Salve Regina’s craft fair will feature a new twist this year: a collaboration with Field of Artisans.

An original collaborative, Field of Artisans brings together emerging artists, photographers, designers, builders and musicians to establish pop-up markets where creatives can sell, network and get exposure.

Each pop-up is unique, featuring a mix of new and returning artists. At any given time, attendees may find a creative teaching a class, a musician trying out new material or artists collaborating on the spot to create masterpieces for sale.

The deadline to reserve a table is Friday, Sept. 21. The fee is $10 and sales tax will be collected at the conclusion of the fair.
