Football program announces captains for 2018 season
Football head coach Kevin Gilmartin has named three captains for the 2018 season: Tyler D’Errico ’19, Brandon O’Neill ’19 and John Salute ’19.
“All three of these players have been absolute impact players for us since the day they set foot on campus,” Gilmartin said. “Having players like Tyler, Brandon and John is what makes us a great team, not only because of their ability on the field, but because of everything they do on and off the field. I am confident that their leadership will help propel us to excel beyond our goals this upcoming season.”
D’Errico, a second team all-conference linebacker, led the Seahawks with 54 tackles, recorded 2.5 sacks, five tackles for a loss of 22 yards, a fumble recovery and two pass breakups. He was also named to the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) academic all-conference team.

He ranked third in the conference for sacks. He was named to the CCC academic all-conference team and was also named a College Sports Information Directors of America academic all-district player.
