Four Seahawks named all-Americans
Benjamin Barrett ’15, Frank Musco ’15, Phil Terio ’15 and Matthew Traynor ’15 have been named all-Americans by USACollegeFootball.com.
Barrett garnered an honorable mention as a punter. In 2014, he punted 44 times for 1,692 yards, averaging 38 yards per punt. Barrett ranks first in program history with 7,403 punt yards.
Musco was named a second team defensive back. In 2014, he totaled 44 tackles (38 of which were solo tackles), a team-leading 11 pass breakups and one interception.
Traynor was named a third team wide receiver. Salve Regina’s all-time leader in touchdown catches (27), he posted 49 catches, 800 yards and 13 touchdowns in just nine games during the 2014 season.
Terio was named a third team defensive back. In 2014, he totaled 54 tackles (42 solo) and one interception that he returned 85 yards for a touchdown. Terio ranks first in program history in interception return yardage (399) and interceptions returned for touchdowns (5).
