Free flu, COVID-19 booster vaccine clinics

As flu season begins and COVID-19 cases rise across Rhode Island, vaccines are encouraged. Health Services and Matt’s Local Pharmacy will sponsor five flu and COVID-19 booster shot clinics on campus this fall.

Confirmed seasonal flu and COVID-19 booster shot clinics will be held on these dates:

  • 2 – 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12, in McAuley Hall rose garden
  • 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26, in O’Hare Academic Building lobby
  • 2 – 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 6, in O’Hare Academic Building lobby
  • 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 21, Gerety Hall south porch
  • 2:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7, Gerety Hall south porch

Clinics are open to Salve Regina students, faculty and staff who are age 18 and up. While there is no charge for those who have insurance, those wishing to be vaccinated should bring their insurance card and their COVID-19 vaccination card. No pre-registration or appointment is needed.
