Getting ready for the celebration of generosity on Giving Tuesday

On Tuesday, Nov. 30, Salve Regina will celebrate the national tradition of Giving Tuesday. On Giving Tuesday, people everywhere – including retailers, charities, online organizations, community centers, individuals, families and more – come together and celebrate the spirit of giving.

Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to exemplifying the mercy mission of Salve Regina. This year, the University is grateful to alumna Diane Morelli McBroom ’70 for offering a $10,000 challenge gift. Participants can give a gift of any amount, and McBroom will donate $100 for each gift received to The SALVEfund up to 100 donors. That’s an additional $100 to Salve Regina for every gift, with a cap set at $10,000.
