Glenn Clark named associate vice president for information technology
Glenn Clark has been named associate vice president for information technology/chief information officer at Salve Regina. His appointment officially begins July 1.
“Salve Regina continues to be a unique and exceptional environment where we can all help contribute to overcoming the challenges and change ahead,” Clark said. “The opportunity to lead such a great team of people who have both the experience and drive to take on these challenges and changes is something I am really looking forward to.”
Clark has been with the University since 2006 and has served as acting associate vice president for information technology/chief information officer since September 2016.
“Glenn has been a key contributor in developing the University’s network architecture, functionality and security,” said Bill Hall, vice president for administration/chief financial officer. “His contributions have led to a number of improvements in our technology services and successful implementation of numerous projects and initiatives for the campus. Glenn has also helped to forge relationships with a variety of high-level technology manufacturers and providers such as Cisco, HP, Microsoft, Apple, Cox Communication, Atrion and OSHEAN, all who have become trusted partners and contributors to the University.”
Clark holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Providence College and an MBA from Bryant University. He also holds certifications in Cisco, Microsoft, IT security and project management. For the past 15 years, Clark has served as an adjunct professor at Bryant, Salve Regina and the Community College of Rhode Island.
