Global studies majors to present senior projects

Seven global studies majors will present their senior projects from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 9 in the O’Hare Academic Center, Room 260. Members of the Salve Regina community are welcome to attend.
Through their capstone courses, the students have developed research-based projects that address a global issue at the local level and integrate the experiences and knowledge they gained during their study abroad programs.
Presenters include:

- Erin Gerhard: “Fighting Femicide: Gender Inequality in Argentina”
- Gabrielle Lefrancois: “South African Minibus Taxis and Unemployment”
- Cleora Ohar: “Illegal Immigration: North African Migrants in Spain”
- Katharine Stoeckel: “Save the Shells: Turtle Conservation in Costa Rica”
