Graduate students invited to attend library research orientations
McKillop Library is holding two online events for graduate students to help familiarize themselves with the library’s resources. These library research orientations will be held in the evening on Monday, Sept. 13, at 7 p.m., and during lunchtime on Thursday, Sept. 30, at noon.
These events are open to any graduate student who would like further direction about ways to utilize the library’s resources to research and cite sources.
Evening Library Research Orientation for Graduate Students
Monday, Sept. 13, 7-8:00 p.m.
Join Dawn Emsellem-Wichowski, director of library services, for a Zoom introduction to Salve Regina’s McKillop Library geared towards graduate students. Learn how to find books, eBooks and articles in different disciplines, as well as how to work the citation manager Refworks into research and writing workflow to organize citations and create bibliographies in a preferred citation style.
