HR sponsoring financial education workshop for women

The Office of Human Resources is sponsoring “Women and Investing,” a workshop designed to provide female faculty and staff members with the information they need to make informed financial decisions.

The workshop will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30 in the Miley Hall executive dining room. Lunch will be provided.

Topics will include translating personal values into a financial plan, investing with wisdom rather than emotion and controlling the distribution of your money. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a MetLife financial professional, who will address specific questions that may not be answered in a group setting.
