Human Resources sponsoring retirement workshop

The Office of Human Resources is sponsoring “Getting Retirement Ready,” a workshop designed to prepare faculty and staff for the decisions they need to make as they approach retirement.

The workshop will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24 in the Miley Hall executive dining room. Lunch will be provided.

Topics will include:

  • How to identify and know your sources of retirement income
  • The “ins and outs” of Social Security and Medicare
  • How to anticipate health care expenses and plan accordingly
  • The importance of reviewing insurance needs and reducing personal debt
