Information Technology introduces “Ellucian GO” mobile app
Salve Regina’s Office of Information Technology has introduced the “Ellucian GO” mobile app for Apple and Android devices, which provides interactive functionality with My Information and My Salve components.
The new mobile application contains features such as Search for Sections, My Grades, My Notifications and My Courses. Students can also sync course schedules to their calendars.
To download the app, students can visit their phone’s app store and download the “Ellucian GO” application. Once downloaded, choose “Switch Schools” from the menu and select “Salve Regina University” to download and display the configuration.
In the My Information menu, students should use their standard computer and My Salve login to authenticate, as this allows the app to provide information specific to each user. My Notifications will function similarly, with the number of outstanding holds displayed on the app menu and on the menu icon within the phone or tablet menu.
My Grades and My Courses provide course information, including times, and building information, which interfaces with the campus map for directions. Search For Sections allows for browsing classes, as well as adding them to a cart and ultimately registering.
