IT survey seeking feedback on residence hall technology
The Office of Information Technology is prototyping new technology offerings for the residence halls and wants students’ voices to be heard. The goal is to provide enhanced video content, networking services and AV technology in the residence halls.
Students are encouraged to provide their feedback through the residence hall technology survey.
Information Technology is also seeking community feedback to inform their efforts to improve technology services for the Salve Regina community. Two kiosks in the garden level of McKillop Library are hosting an IT survey.
The survey link is also included in the automated email from Technology Services whenever a support request is closed.
Information Technology has also announced several new services and upgrades for the fall semester. Adobe Creative Cloud Software Suite is now available on all public computer workstations and computer labs in the McKillop Library and Antone Academic Center. This includes powerful photo editing, video editing, website and graphic design tools.
In addition, new technology and software images have been installed in the DiStefano Lecture Hall and McKillop Library, Rooms 005, 006 and 317. A new state-of-the-art digital forensics lab has been assembled at the Center for Adult Education in Warwick, and all Ricoh printers on campus have been upgraded.
