New planning, advising modules coming to My Salve
Beginning with registration for fall 2019 courses, which runs April 4-12, students and faculty will transition from Web Advisor to new planning and advising modules in My Salve.
Students will use the planning module for advising, tracking progress towards completing degree requirements, mapping degree plans and registering for classes. Faculty will use the advising module to view schedules, transcripts, test scores, waivers and degree plans for their advisees.
During the transition, registration and advising for fall 2019 courses may be conducted in either Web Advisor or My Salve. This fall, registration and advising for spring 2020 courses will be conducted exclusively in My Salve.
The new modules will be available in My Salve by Friday, March 8. In addition, the Office of Information Technology will offer training sessions on the new advising and planning modules throughout the month of March.
