Nuala Pell Leadership Program selects fellows for 2024-2025

A group of 11 juniors and seniors have been selected as the 2024-2025 fellows for the Nuala Pell Leadership Program. Named in honor of the late Nuala Pell, wife of Sen. Claiborne Pell and an avid supporter of public service, the program facilitates leadership development with an emphasis on public service.
Through monthly meetings, students engage with accomplished leaders in the public sector and explore leadership theory, ethics and the evolution of public issues. The fellowship year culminates with a visit to Washington, D.C., where the leadership fellows meet with public- and private-sector leaders.
Nyla White, a political science major and one of this year’s fellows, is excited to be a part of such an important program. “I look forward to developing my strengths through the program and refining my leadership style, taking every opportunity to learn, grow and make a meaningful impact during the rest of my college experience and in my career field,” she said.
