Panel to explore Theodore Roosevelt’s life, legacy
To coincide with the 100th anniversary of Theodore Roosevelt’s death, the Pell Center for International Relations and Public Policy is convening a panel of Salve Regina faculty to explore his life and legacy.
“Theodore Roosevelt and the Start of the American Century” will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20 in the Bazarsky Lecture Hall. To RSVP, visit the Pell Center’s Eventbrite page.
Roosevelt’s presidency marked a turning point in the nation’s history. Through his international and military policies, the United States emerged as a world power, while his domestic policies tried to address the problems of America’s modern industrial society.
