Pantani named rookie of the week

For the second time this season, Jake Pantani ’16 has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference rookie of the week for men’s lacrosse. He earned the honor after helping the Seahawks to a 2-0 week.

Pantani continued his hot start to his collegiate career, totaling 11 points last week, including seven goals and four assists. He led the Seahawks with five goals and one assist in their 15-4 win over Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. The attackman followed his six-point performance with two goals and three assists in Salve Regina’s 11-5 win over the College of Mount Saint Vincent last Friday. Pantani is currently tied for third in the conference in goals with 12.

Pantani and the Seahawks return to the turf when they host Clark University at Gaudet Field on Wednesday, March 20. The opening face off is set for 5 p.m.
