Pell Center lecture on the rising potential of eSports
The Pell Center for International Relations and Public Policy’s spring 2021 lecture series is offering another fascinating event, entitled “The Impact and Potential of Gaming and eSports” with Kimberley Wallace, feature editor at Game Informer.
The lecture will be held virtually on Tuesday, March 16, at 7 p.m. live on the Pell Center’s Facebook page. Registration and more information can be found on the Pell Center’s Eventbrite page.
By some estimates, the video game industry is bigger—as measured by revenue—than global film production and North American professional sports combined. Join the Pell Center and guest Kimberley Wallace for a conversation about gaming, eSports and their broader impact on society. This event is in partnership with Salve Regina University’s eSports club.
Kimberley Wallace has spent over a decade covering the video game industry, becoming a key voice on the RPG and narrative-driven game scene. Currently the features editor at Game Informer, Wallace has tackled a variety of topics — from video game addiction to moderating online games.
Registration and more information can be found on the Pell Center’s Eventbrite page.
