Phalon named player of the week

The New England Hockey Conference has named Danielle Phalon ’16 co-player of the week for women’s ice hockey.

Phalon followed a four-goal performance at Nichols College with a two-goal effort against Manhattanville College. She also added an assist in the 5-1 victory. Phalon then added a goal and an assist in Salve Regina’s 8-0 victory at New England College. It marked the third shutout of the season for the Seahawks.

Salve Regina (4-1-0; 3-1-0 NEHC) plays at Norwich University at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20.
