Phalon named player of the week

Women’s ice hockey forward Danielle Phalon ’16 has been named player of the week by the New England Hockey Conference.
Phalon recorded six goals through three games for Salve Regina, including a hat trick against Nichols College. She also set the program record for goals in a career, breaking the previous record of 53. She now has 56 and became the second player in program history with 100 points in a career.
The Seahawks (10-11-2, 8-6-1 NEHC) have won three in a row and will take to the ice again at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19 against Saint Anselm College.
