Roundtable luncheon focusing on dysfunction in Washington
The Pell Center for International Relations and Public Policy will sponsor a roundtable discussion focusing on the dysfunction in Washington, D.C., at 11:45 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18 in the Miley Hall private dining room.
Washington, D.C. – the name of the capital city is more often a punch line for late-night comedians than it is a place associated with serious people. And for good reason. Amid sequesters, government shutdowns and the threat of a looming default on America’s debt, the public is left to wonder if Washington will ever work again.
Roundtable discussions are open to Salve Regina students, faculty and staff, and lunch is provided. As space is extremely limited, those interested in attending should RSVP to pellcenter@salve.edu.
