Salve Day of Giving is on March 7
The University will celebrate its annual Salve Day of Giving — a day centered around community, philanthropy and generosity — on Thursday, March 7.
Fostered by philanthropy, Salve Regina’s mercy education is enriched through gifts to The SALVEfund on Day of Giving. Every gift, no matter the size, helps to provide the best education, resources and opportunities across campus. Donating will directly help Salve Regina students by supporting scholarships, academic programs, campus leadership opportunities, community service, student organizations and athletic teams.
Alumni, faculty, staff, parents and friends are encouraged to take a break in their busy schedules and make a difference in the community. This year’s goal is 650 donors in just 24 hours. To further encourage participation, each gift works toward unlocking over $100,000 in challenge funds.
To commemorate Salve Day of Giving, several activities will be taking place from noon to 3 p.m. in O’Hare Academic Building. Grab some coffee and treats while playing trivia and other games for the opportunity to win exciting prizes.
Make a difference on Thursday, March 7 and be a part of this merciful tradition. #OneDayOneSalve.
