Salve lands 77 student-athletes on NEWMAC’s fall Academic All-Conference teams
Seventy-seven students from Salve Regina have been named to the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Academic All-Conference teams for fall 2023 sports.
On the teams, Salve Regina had 21 players from football, 16 from men’s soccer, 14 from women’s soccer, nine from women’s cross country, eight from field hockey, six from women’s volleyball, and three from men’s cross country. From a class breakdown, the Seahawks had 31 sophomores, 18 juniors and 28 seniors make the list.
To achieve this award, honorees must have earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 after the 2023 spring semester, achieved second year academic status at their institution and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.
