Salve Regina will celebrate International Education Week Nov. 14-18. This year, the University community will have multiple opportunities to hear about the experiences and insights of Salve Regina students who have studied abroad.
Additionally, a key focus for this year’s celebration is national scholarship opportunities for undergraduate and post-graduate international education. “Salve students have been winning scholarships in the national arena for study abroad through the Fulbright, Gilman and Boren programs in recent years, and we hope to continue and build on this trend by highlighting these opportunities during this year’s celebration,” said Erin FitzGerald, director of international programs.
A joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, International Education week is an annual opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.
