Salve Regina holding two seasonal flu clinics next week
Although flu season peaks in January and February, people are urged to have flu shots as soon as the vaccine becomes available. To that end, Health Services and the Wellness Company will sponsor two flu clinics at Salve Regina next week. Both are open to the University community as well as the general public.
Seasonal flu clinics will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7 and Friday, Oct. 10 in the Rodgers Recreation Center, Rooms 030-031.
There is no charge for those with the following insurance: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare Part B, United Healthcare, Neighborhood Health, Tufts, Tufts/Carelink or the student consolidated health plan. For those with a difference insurance provider and the uninsured, the cost is $25.
To register for the flu clinic, visit www.thewellcomp.com. Under “Register Now,” choose “Flu – College/University” and use the login name “salve.” Individuals must be 18 or older and must bring their insurance card to the clinic.
