Salve Regina to hold mass for victims of gun violence

Please join the Mercy Center for Spiritual Life for a special Mass at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June, 1 in Our Lady of Mercy Chapel as the University honors the lives lost to gun violence at Robb Elementary School in Texas, Tops Friendly Market in New York and the Irvine Taiwanese Presbyterian Church in California.

Salve Regina is asking for the community to join hearts in prayer for those whose lives were taken, their families and friends, and all who have been affected by these senseless acts of violence. As the University prays for a way forward, let it also keep its mercy mission at the heart of its work for change in the country and community — knowing that action must follow prayer in order to make the world more harmonious, just and merciful.
