Sara Clabby named director of sponsored programs
Sara Clabby brings two decades of sponsored research experience to her new position as director of sponsored programs at Salve Regina.
Prior to joining the University community, Clabby served as director of sponsored programs at Wentworth Institute of Technology, where she worked with faculty and staff to identify and prepare grants. She has also served as manager of pre-award services at Northeastern University.
“I am very excited to be joining the Salve Regina community and I’m looking forward to working with the faculty, students and staff at the University to enhance Salve’s externally-funded research and educational projects,” Clabby said.
Clabby’s areas of expertise include training, research administration, proposal development, contract negotiation, award administration, research compliance, interpreting federal guidelines, and finding and applying to funding opportunities.
She has a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Providence College and a master of public administration from the University of Rhode Island.
