SGA seeking candidates for senate positions
The Student Government Association is seeking candidates for 2018-2019 senate positions. Nomination packets are available online, and elections will be held Sept. 20-21 via Seahawk Connection.
Nomination packets should be submitted via Seahawk Connection by 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13. A mandatory campaign meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13 in Wakehurst. Active campaigning may not begin until after the meeting.
Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at Salve Regina at the time of the election and must maintain eligibility per the SGA constitution.
- Must not be on probation, either academic or behavioral, as determined by University regulations.
- Must not hold more than one executive or legislative office within the student government at a time.
Voting will begin at 7 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20 and will close at 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21.
