Staff Advisory Council to host staff assembly, Friendsgiving

The Staff Advisory Council (SAC) is eager to continue efforts to foster effective communication, enhance the quality of the staff experience, increase engagement and community, and recognize the contributions made by staff at Salve Regina throughout the academic year.

On Thursday, Nov. 17, at 2 p.m., SAC will host its fall staff assembly in the O’Hare Academic Building’s Bazarsky Lecture Hall. There is also an option to attend through Webex. Meeting number access code is 2305 046 9402, and the meeting password is FevsxjXg838.

Agenda items for the assembly will include:

  • Updates from the subcommittees
  • Upcoming initiatives and opportunities for staff to engage
  • Recruitment updates from Jim Fowler, vice president for enrollment management
  • Reveal of the holiday celebration

SAC Friendsgiving

Following the staff assembly, there will be an opportunity to come together, offer gratitude and get the holiday season started with a Staff Advisory Counsel Friendsgiving from 3:15-4:45 p.m. in Ochre Court.

In the spirit of friendship, SAC will host a feel-good event complete with a service project: making breakfast blessing bags to benefit community members in need on Thanksgiving morning, a gratitude board, Caught Caring handout harvest-hearts, warm drinks, dessert and a pie tasting contest.
