Stagefright presenting Larry Shue’s “The Nerd”

The student-run Stagefright Theatre Company will present three performances of Larry Shue’s comedic play “The Nerd” this weekend.
“The Nerd” explores the social life of Willum Cubbert, a struggling architect whose life takes an unexpected turn when Erica Steadman appears.
Directed by Jake Fernandes ’17, the production stars Lea Carpanzano ’18, Collin Travassos ’18, Dominick Torro ’16, Brigid Sawyer ’16, Maria Smith ’16, Savannah Repucci ’16 and Morgan Salpietro ’19.
“The Nerd” will run Jan. 29-31 in the Antone Academic Center’s Megley Theatre. Show times are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $7 for general and $5 for students, faculty and seniors, and tickets will be available at the door.
