Student Activities seeking orientation leaders for Class of 2019
The Office of Student Activities is seeking students with high energy and school spirit to serve as orientation leaders for the Class of 2019.
Orientation leaders help new students transition to the Salve Regina community. As one of the first points of contact for new students, orientation leaders are trained to know about campus resources and to answer questions and ease concerns of entering freshmen as well as their parents.
Students interested in serving as orientation leaders are encouraged to attend one of three upcoming interest meetings, which will be held at 1:45 and 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22 and 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27 in Miley Hall, Room 012.
Applicants must be in good academic and social standing with the University. They must be available for training throughout the spring 2015 semester and must be available to work the orientation program from Sunday, June 7 through Saturday, June 27. Compensation will be discussed at the interest meeting.
Applications are available on Seahawk Connection under “Campus Links.” Applications are due Friday, Feb. 13. There will be two rounds of interviews, and the final staff will be announced March 6.
Interested students must also complete the Career Development summer interest form by Friday, Feb. 6. This form is located in the Salve Regina Gateway.
For more information, attend an interest meeting or contact the Office of Student Activities at (401) 341-2915 or student.activities@salve.edu.
