Student Government Association holding elections April 20-21

The Student Government Association will hold elections for 2016-2017 executive board and senate positions April 20-21. Online voting will open at 8 a.m. Wednesday and run through 10 p.m. Thursday.

Voting is open to all undergraduate students. A link to the ballot is available on the Seahawk Connection homepage.

The candidates are:

  • President: Adriano Cirioli ’17 vs. David Fairchild ’18
  • Vice president: Abigail Gray ’19 vs. Lauren Healy ’18
  • Treasurer: Billy Martin ’17
  • Secretary: Tressie Fretschl ’18
  • Public relations coordinator: Katherine Gillespie ’18 vs. Zachary Cahill ’17
  • Chief justice: Benjamin Tetschner ’17 vs. Ming Fen Cogdon ’18
  • Senate: Olivia Papi ’18, Blanca Guzman ’18, Thomas Mitchell ’19, Haley Hine ’19, Victoria Johnson ’19, Kayla Rennie ’19, Allyssa Medeiros ’17, Ethan Boghigian ’17, Eli Dias ’18, Eddie Cullinane ’19, Chris Chavarria ’18.

The winners will be announced through social media when voting closes.
