Students encouraged to apply for RA positions
The Office of Residence Life is seeking Resident Advisors to help lead the campus community during the 2017-2018 academic year. Successful candidates will have the desire and commitment necessary to make a difference in the lives of their peers.
Resident Advisors represent the Office of Residence Life as key staff members, working under the direct supervision of area coordinators. RAs complete an extensive training program that offers them an opportunity to develop valuable interpersonal and organizational skills.
Information sessions will be held:
- Monday, Feb. 6 at 6 p.m. in the Office of Multicultural Programs
- Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. in the Reefe Hall first-floor common area
- Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 5 p.m. in Miley Hall, Room 012 (garden-level classroom)
- Thursday, Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. in the William Watts Sherman House first-floor common area
The selection process consists of an application (including a resume and two letters of recommendation) and an interview. Students may apply for RA positions through the student leadership application, which is available online through Thursday, Feb. 16.
