Students invited to apply for conduct hearing board
The Dean of Students Office is accepting applications for its student conduct hearing board for the 2016-2017 academic year.
Students who serve on the student conduct hearing board take on a leadership role by helping to uphold the University’s student code of conduct, and hold non-adversarial hearings for alleged violations of the code of conduct.
The Dean of Students Office sees the value and importance of student input on community expectations and is excited to offer this opportunity to its students. This is one of the most thought-provoking and rewarding ways a student can serve the Salve Regina community.
Having a previous conduct record does not necessarily preclude a student from serving on the student conduct hearing board. These decisions will be made at the discretion of the Dean of Students Office.
Applications are available in the Dean of Students Office in Miley Hall, Room 118 or online. For more information, contact J. Malcolm Smith, dean of students, at malcolm.smith@salve.edu or Jennifer Jensen, associate dean of students, at jensenj@salve.edu.
Applications are due Friday, April 22. Training will take place in early September.
