Students invited to apply for RA positions
The Office of Residence Life is seeking Resident Advisors to help lead the campus community during the 2016-2017 academic year. Successful candidates will have the desire and commitment necessary to make a difference in the lives of their peers.
RAs represent the Office of Residence Life as key staff members, working under the direct supervision of area coordinators. RAs complete an extensive training program that offers them an opportunity to develop valuable interpersonal and organizational skills.
Information sessions will be held:
- 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9 in the Office of Multicultural Programs
- 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11 in the Reefe Hall first-floor common area
- 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15 in the Miley Hall garden-level classroom
- 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17 in the William Watts Sherman House first-floor common area
The selection process consists of an application (including essays and two letters of recommendation), a group interview and an individual interview. Applications are available in My Salve (choose “Residence Life” under “Offices and Services”) and are due Friday, Feb. 19.
