Students invited to attend two academic coaching workshops
Finals are just around the corner, and Salve Regina’s Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) has teamed up with the Academic Advising Office to offer two upcoming workshops to help students finish the semester strong.
Peer Academic Coaching is a new branch of ACE. Peer academic coaches (PACs) help fellow students develop the skills needed to be successful in college, whether it be learning how to read a textbook, getting organized for the semester or overcoming test anxiety. Any and all Salve Regina students are able to receive the support they need for free.
Peer Academic Coaches also host a variety of workshops throughout the semester, and there are two opportunities left to learn some new strategies to achieve academic goals:
Finish the Semester Strong
Tuesday, April 6 at 6 p.m.
Gear up for finals by learning to use one’s textbook to study more efficiently, plan to pull up midterm grades, learn study tips for any subject and more! Hannah Cazzetta, an academic advising coordinator at Salve Regina, will co-host the workshop.
Prepare for Finals
Monday, April 19 at 6 p.m.
To get focused for finals, a panel of Peer Academic Coaches will discuss time management tips for finals, ways to conquer exam anxiety and more.
