Students seeking involvement encouraged to attend series of fairs

New and returning students who are seeking to become more involved with campus activities and programs are encouraged to attend a series of fairs scheduled for this week.
Student employment job fair
The fair will be held from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6 on the Wakehurst lawn. Students who received a federal work-study award are invited to speak with supervisors from a variety of offices and departments to learn more about available student employment opportunities.
A full list of available positions is accessible in Career Hub. Students who are hired must complete federal employment forms before they begin working.
Club rush
Club rush will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7 on the Wakehurst lawn. Club rush gives students the opportunity to learn more about recognized student organizations and find meaningful ways to become involved in campus activities.

Community service fair
The fair will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7 on the Wakehurst lawn. During the fair, local community partners will share their various volunteer opportunities and events for the year.
